The Purpose of Life

The meaningless, frustrated, unhappy lives of many people indicate that a real purpose for living is lacking. Is life simply the pursuit of self-satisfaction? What is the answer?

God created man and desires to have fellowship with him (Genesis 1:27). Man, by his own choice, disobeyed God and fellowship was broken. The Bible says all have sinned and death results from sin (Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23).

Jesus Christ paid the penalty for man’s sin and became the only bridge by which man could come into fellowship with God (John 14:6 and Romans 5:8).

You must personally appropriate what Christ did for you by receiving Him by faith (John 1:12).

When you trust Christ to be your personal Savior, He will forgive your sins and come into your life (1 John 5:11-13).

If you have never made this decision, why not do so right now? Please let us know; we would love to help you grow in the Christian life. Christ is the real purpose for living!
